Disha Rajendrabhai Jayswal Bio (LinkedIn)
I am an Associate Solutions Architect at AWS in Seattle, specialising in applied AI and cloud architecture for independent software vendors. My work centres on generative AI, where I advise technical leaders on model selection, inference performance, architecture decisions, migration, and cost tradeoffs, and translate customer needs into documented options their teams can implement. My path into this field ran through machine learning research. During my Master's in Computer Science at UMBC, I contributed to a NASA-supported wildfire digital-twin project that combined Earth-observation data, physical models, and machine learning. I am also first author of a Springer-published paper on convolutional neural networks for handwritten digit classification. At AWS, I have delivered a re:Invent Builder's Talk on AI-powered customer service with Amazon Connect, co-presented an Amazon Bedrock workshop covering Knowledge Bases, Agents, Flows, Guardrails, and multi-agent collaboration, and served as a lab lead for a Bedrock AgentCore Immersion Day. I hold six AWS certifications, including AI Practitioner and the professional-level Generative AI Developer credential. My current focus is real-time generative-AI optimisation for safety-critical communication systems, where response latency and reliability directly affect user trust and operational usability. I am also scheduled to speak at the 2026 Grace Hopper Celebration and SWE26.
